All those prayers for Jim to make little steps have worked as Jim made a big move today.

He was down graded to Intermediate Care in ICU Neuro. He has changed rooms to a private room. It is just as large as a double but all by himself.

His red blood count is better in the low 10’s. He slept well in the morning and afternoon. He is barely able to squeeze the nurse call.

The nurse was really nice tonight before he moved. Jim’s roommate was in surgery so she let us have 4 visitors in to see him at a time.

Jim is a little apprehensive with being in the room without a nurse there all the time. But he will get used to it. When they told him he was going to a private room his first question was will there be a nurse in there all the time. The nurse instead of doing two patients to one nurse will now be three patients to one nurse. His new room is very close to the waiting rooms and has a great view of downtown Peoria. But not a view Jim can see out of but one that will get a lot of early morning sun which I am sure Jim will like.

It is Jenny’s Birthday tomorrow, it will be difficult for both of them but this was a blessing and a good birthday gift for Jenny. Happy Birthday Jenny.

Our amazing God has given all of us another gift. Thank you Lord!

John
