Jim, continues his slow progress thru recovery. Yesterday they sat him in a chair/bed that adjusts like a lounge chair and looks like a hospital bed. They sat him at a 45 degree angle for over an hour. Jim did well with this.

They did do two weaning of the vents. I do not know how long but I do know he did well with them.

Jim’s strength and movement of arms and legs remains the same. No real noticeable movement.

The brought a wheel chair in his room that is motor driven. When he is able to go off the vent they want him to try and use this chair. Just guessing but I think this might help his motivation. He still struggles with the weaning of the vents and is afraid something will go wrong. That will change in time.

Not much to report, we did not get over again last night. It is hard not seeing him at all for a day or two. Even if it is 5 min. it helps. I believe we will be over there tonight so there will probably me more to send soon.
