Here’s how your say wow for a tremendous Thanksgiving week!
On Monday Nov. 20 I feed Jim most of his meal and he could not even lift his heals off the bed when laying flat. Then in the early evening he was transported back to Peoria.
Tuesday Nov. 21 Jim could feed himself except for a couple things like cutting his bacon cheese burger and reaching far enough to get food closer to him. He could pull up his knee’s part way up laying on the bed but not lifting his feet again.
Wednesday Nov. 22 Jim totally feed himself. He also could swing his legs to side of bed but not sit up.
Thursday Nov. 23 Jim was doing well, he could slide himself off the bed to his wheel chair. Push himself around anywhere. Dinner in the elevator lobby with family with all the fixings. Sir Barkley visited Jim on a beautiful afternoon outside in a very small concrete park. In the evening Jenny and Jim shocked the world with news Jenny was expecting. They had known since Mid September but planned all along to share with everyone on Thanksgiving. What a blessing.
Friday Nov. 24 Jim continues to surprise with recovery. PT asked him to stand and it ended up he could walk the hall of about 220 lineal feet. He could not stand himself up but he could walk. Oh he had is IV steroid treatment.
Saturday Nov. 25 & Sunday 26 Jim remained the same as Friday with his recovery with the addition of being very tired today.
Jenny has been doing great. No morning sickness but becomes tired at some points.
Please pray for continued recovery for Jim along with strength to do the daily grind of PT. They will keep him busy again starting tomorrow. Continue prayers for Jenny that she remains patient and healthy.
God’s Blessings showed huge the week. All the praise goes to our Father!

RFI, daily reports will be slowing done as long as Jim continues to recover. I will surely send something out if things change. Expectations for this week might be, going home late in the week. A lot will need to happen for that but then compare it to this week. Hand feed Monday and walking on Friday.
