God has lead Jim down here.

Good news! The recovery has started. Jim can lift up his left arm and hand up to the top of his head. His right hand and forearm he is able to move slightly. The left leg he can pull up and bend his knee approx. 6 inches off the mattress and the Right leg he can do approx. 4 inches. Does he love to smile when he does it. The biggest part of that change has been the last 24 hours.

The doctor is running some tests with trying to figure out what he has. Right now they feel he has Multifocal CIDP Lewis Sumner. They want to just do steroid IV once per week treatment and see what this does. It may take some time before they know. The good thing is he is getting better, problem is with trying to slow down the attack on him they do not know what helped as they gave him everything that might work.

More tests are being run, the neat thing is this doctor has his own lab and tests. This doctor discovered this Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN). As Jim said it, “ he knows his stuff”. While looking at Jim with two other doctors today he quoted papers written in 1985 about what Jim has. God has put Jim in this Doctors hands and Jim can feel it. What a blessing!

We do not know how long, how many more tests, or what they are up to tomorrow. Today’s visit with the doctors was approx 50 min.

Jim’s Dad, Sister and Mookie made it safe from Tenn. This drive was only 4 ½ hours for them what a difference.

Small Group Team, Sherry and I missed the gathering a bunch tonight.

So much to be thankful for tonight and all that praise The Lord!

John
